A travelling exhibition
For our most recent project with Angèle Etoundi Essamba, we had the privilege of immortalising 20 beautiful artworks in wall decorations created especially for a travelling exhibition. This project filled us with pride and was carried out with the utmost care and craftsmanship. Each artwork was produced with extreme precision, carefully finished with fine art plexiglass and stylishly framed. This meticulous finishing contributed to the overall aesthetics and presentation of the artworks. This was all done in close collaboration. After the test prints were approved, the images were printed in large format as lamdaprints on 130g Fujicolor Crystal Archive Type DPII paper. This carefully selected paper guarantees stunning image quality and durability. This is crucial for a travelling exhibition where the artworks are exposed to different environments and conditions.
Dedication is the magic word
At CRE8, our dedication to a project goes beyond simply producing works of art. We strive for perfection in every aspect of the process. This is why making test prints is an essential part of our workflow. This thorough preparation allows us to guarantee that the end result is predictable and of the highest quality. We aim for nothing less than exclusive quality, which is why we work exclusively with renowned German brands. This choice guarantees a level of craftsmanship and durability that is second to none. Each sculpture is milled with precision and attention to detail on our Zund cutting machine, where we work to millimetre accuracy. This ensured ensured that each image fitted perfectly into the frame, maximising the aesthetic and impact of the artwork were maximised. To provide our artworks provide them with a premium finish, they were then framed with black wooden frames. This choice contributed to the look of the artwork and emphasised its quality. Our commitment to quality did not stop at production. Each artwork was carefully packed in wooden crates and sealed so that they could safely and undamaged reach their destination in Canada. We also provided bespoke export packaging and arranged transport to Canada, so Angèle Etoundi Essamba did not have to worry about the logistics. Organised by the Dutch Consulate, the first presentation of "Powerful Women" took place in Toronto. The exhibition will travel further across Canada and will be shown in Ottawa and Vancouver.At CRE8, we are honoured to be part of this wonderful project and proud to bring Angèle Etoundi Essamba's beautiful creations to life and present them to new audiences in Canada and beyond.
